Mission
"Our
purpose as a church is to touch the world for Jesus Christ; to love one
another through His eyes, and to serve Him like we never have before."
Vision
"Our goal is to walk together with Jesus, in Power and in Christian Love."
What We Believe.
We believe:- in the authority of the Scriptures as the
true Word of God, inspired by God, and written by men under divine inspiration of God.
- there is only one true and living God who exists and is manifested in three persons, The Father, The Son,
and The Holy Spirit.
- mankind was created by God in holiness, but fell from that state of holiness by voluntary transgression.
- the way of salvation is grace through
faith in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who by his death made full atonement for our
sins. He's risen from the dead and is now enthroned in heaven as the only
qualified and all-sufficient Savior and authority over the church.
- that the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ is imputed to us by Grace, through faith in Jesus Christ and his shed blood.
- sanctification is the progressive work of
the Holy Spirit in the believer’s life by which we are made partakers
of God’s holiness, purifying the sinner from the pollution of sin.
- that repentance and faith are both sacred
duties and inseparable graces. It is the work of the Holy Spirit
turning one to God receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as prophet, priest
and king and the only all-sufficient Savior.
- that in order to be saved, sinners must
be regenerated or born again by the power of the Holy Spirit resulting
in repentance and faith a newness of life in Christ.
- Christian baptism is the immersion in
water of a believer in Christ in the name of the Father the Son, and The
Holy Spirit to show our faith in the crucified, buried, and risen
Savior.
- the Lord’s Supper by the sacred use of
bread and wine as symbols of Christ’s broken body and His shed blood,
partaken by members of the Church to commemorate together the suffering
and death of Christ.
- the end of the world is approaching and at the last day, Christ will return personally and visibly in glory to the earth. The dead will be raised from the grave first and Christ will judge all men in righteousness. A separation will take place; the wicked will be consigned to Hell, everlasting punishment, and the righteous to everlasting joy in Heaven.
